The Bethel-Tate Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They walked away with a 61-52 victory over Georgetown. The victory was just what Bethel-Tate needed coming off of a 58-35 loss in their prior contest.
Despite the defeat, Georgetown saw an underclassman step up: Morgan Preston dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josie Mckibben, who scored six points along with five steals.
Bethel-Tate's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Georgetown, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Bethel-Tate will head out on the road to square off against Ludlow at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Ludlow's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Georgetown, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against East Clinton at 7:30 p.m.
