3A Mountain Rivers recap November 19, 2013
Sugar-Salem was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after a bye. The Diggers came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 28 last week.
Shelley added to the longest winning streak in 3A Mountain Rivers this week by beating Gooding, 25-13. The win marks eighth in a row for the the Russets.
South Fremont's Junior Gonzalez and Kade Schaat led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Gonzalez has thrown for 1,852 yards this season, while Schaat has 43 catches for 589 yards. Jordan Godby from Sugar-Salem leads the league in rushing with 2,037 yards.
Shelley led the league in points allowed with 13.
