Basketball Recap: Pleasanton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pleasanton waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 62-49 win over the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Spartans back in February, they had to take a 45-44 loss.

Brennan Lindner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Riley, who posted nine points.

Despite the loss, Ansley/Litchfield still got an impressive performance from Luke Bailey, who dropped a double-double with 32 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 65.3% of Ansley/Litchfield's points, marking the sixth time in a row Bailey has earned more than a third of the team's points.

The victory got Pleasanton back to even at 11-11. As for Ansley/Litchfield, they moved to 13-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Pleasanton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-51 win against Wilcox-Hildreth on the 25th. As for Ansley/Litchfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-17 victory against Elba on the 25th.
