After losing to Southern Coffey County the last time they met, Northeast decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vikings came out on top against the Titans by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Northeast easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14.

Northeast's win bumped their record up to 14-8-4. As for Southern Coffey County, their loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-25.

Coming up, Northeast will face off against Galena on Monday. As for Southern Coffey County, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Oswego on the 7th.
