Georgia-Cumberland Academy won the last time they faced Cherokee Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Jaguars blew past the Warriors 3-0.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy never let Cherokee Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-12.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Milly Crecelius, who had 11 aces, seven digs, and six kills. Those 11 aces gave Crecelius a new career-high. Ella Reese was another key player, getting eight digs, six aces, and five kills.

They weren't the only good server: Georgia-Cumberland Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 23 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for Cherokee Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Coming up, Georgia-Cumberland Academy will challenge Praise Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cherokee Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Valor Christian on the 11th.
