The Toll Gate Titans will face off against the Times Squared Academy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Toll Gate is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Hope just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 67-56 to the Blue Wave.

Despite the loss, Toll Gate had strong showings from Brayden Healey, who went 6 for 8 en route to 12 points along with seven boards and three steals, and Jaden Roache, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 13 points. The dominant performance gave Roache a new career-high in points. Damola Oremosu was another key player, putting up seven points and five rebounds.
Even though they lost, Toll Gate was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Times Squared Academy on Friday. They strolled past North Smithfield with points to spare, taking the game 69-55. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.
Toll Gate better keep an eye on Steven Garcia. He was instrumental in Times Squared Academy's win, earning 27 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Yomy Garcia, who posted 14 points.
Times Squared Academy pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38 points. As for Toll Gate, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Toll Gate and Times Squared Academy are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Toll Gate hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 57.1 points per game. However, it's not like Times Squared Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 70.8 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Toll Gate couldn't quite finish off Times Squared Academy when the teams last played back in January of 2024 and fell 64-61. Can Toll Gate avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
