Senior Caleb Parman, who rushed for 166 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Worth County/Northeast Nodaway's success. In fact, with 14 tackles Parman was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, King City/Union Star faced Pattonsburg/Gilman City/North Harrison in a battle between two of the state's top teams. It was a tough break for King City/Union Star, who improved upon an already decent score from the game before but lost both times.
