Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tulia). They strolled past the River Road Wildcats with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 58-44. The win was some much needed relief for the Hornets as it spelled an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Tulia's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-15. As for River Road, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tulia will welcome Canadian at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Canadian will roll in looking for their 25th straight win, something Tulia surely won't give up without a fight. As for River Road, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the River Road Wildcats face off against the Childress Bobcats at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
