Cherokee County was led to victory by Nevaeh Gaidurgis and Mary Hayes johnson. Gaidurgis scored 18 points, while Hayes johnson scored 21 points along with 6 steals. The match was Hayes johnson's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deannia Starr, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Cherokee County's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Ider, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 5-3.
