The Maryvale Panthers lost to the Carl Hayden Community Falcons back in January, but the Maryvale Panthers didn't allow the Carl Hayden Community Falcons the same satisfaction on Thursday. Maryvale came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 57-49.
Dalia Valdez was nothing short of spectacular: she dropped a double-double on 26 points and 12 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Marianna Jennings, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 19 rebounds.
Maryvale's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Carl Hayden Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-18.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Camelback the next time they take the court. Maryvale will host the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
