Breelon Allen and Brianna Hunter certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Allen scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks, while Hunter scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. The game was Hunter's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
This is the second loss in a row for Marion and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Non Varsity Tournament Opponent, they pushed their record up to 8-19 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
Marion will take on Falls City at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
