The Friendly Patriots came into Monday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They strolled past High Point with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 84-69. The victory was just what Friendly needed coming off of a 64-31 defeat in their prior matchup.
Friendly's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maddox Graham led the charge by scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Graham hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaidon Weber, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daniel Eze, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Eze has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kadan Solomonraj, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Friendly's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for High Point, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-17.
Friendly will take on Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Friendly is facing Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North at the right time seeing as Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for High Point, they will head out on the road to take on Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. High Point has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
