After four games on the road, Legacy Christian Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Covenant Christian Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy Christian Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 21 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Last Friday, Legacy Christian Academy took a serious blow against the Rams, falling 57-21.
Meanwhile, Covenant Christian can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 59-5 victory over Providence Classical on the road. With Covenant Christian ahead 33-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Keeley Chaddick was her usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with eight steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Alani Owens was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Legacy Christian Academy dropped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Covenant Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 17-12 record this season.
Legacy Christian Academy took a serious blow against the Cougars in their previous meeting back in January, falling 64-20. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Legacy Christian Academy was down 41-8.
