Make it six blowout wins for the Dalhart Wolves this season. They breezed by Tulia on the road to the tune of 70-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Dalhart has posted yet this season.
Tulia's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nic Carrasco, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Dalhart's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Tulia, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dalhart will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Canadian at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Canadian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Dalhart likes a good challenge. As for Tulia, they will head out on the road to take on Bushland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bushland presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tulia in Texas (Bushland is ranked 568th, while Tulia is ranked 1188th).
