Center Hill won the last time they faced Clarksdale and things went their way on Saturday too. Everything went the Center Hill Mustangs' way against the Clarksdale Wildcats as the Center Hill Mustangs made off with a 13-3 victory. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly ten runs.

Malachi Howze was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run. Cooper McCool also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Center Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Clarksdale only posted an OBP of .318.

The win got Center Hill back to even at 4-4. As for Clarksdale, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Center Hill will face off against Lewisburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarksdale, they will square off against Bayou Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Clarksdale has given up an average of 11.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
