Ellicott has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against The Vanguard School Coursers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ellicott will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 312th, while The Vanguard School is ranked 11th).
Last Tuesday, Ellicott suffered a rough 63-37 defeat at the hands of Colorado Springs Christian.
Meanwhile, The Vanguard School put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They managed a 73-67 win over Salida. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Ellicott's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for The Vanguard School, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Ellicott might still be hurting after the 64-39 loss they got from The Vanguard School when the teams last played back in February. Can Ellicott avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
