Beau Twohig looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Elkhorn is 5-1 when Twohig allows three or fewer earned runs, but 7-13 otherwise.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tyrus Mack, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Carle, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
