Meanwhile, Bucklin put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 52-6 victory over Macksville. The Red Aces might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by 40 points or more this season.
Aiden Haskell was his usual excellent self, rushing for 171 yards and five touchdowns on only nine carries. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 111.2 rushing yards per game.
Bucklin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Miles Haskell, Leighton Konrade, and Nick Feikert picked up one apiece.
Ashland's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Bucklin, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
