After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coffee County Central, Columbia Central was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles as they made off with a 13-3 victory. Considering the Lions have won 12 matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Columbia Central's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-11. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Shelbyville Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-16.

As of now, neither Columbia Central nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
