It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Windward Wildcats can now relate to. They fell just short of the Minutemen by a score of 1-0. Windward just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Windward dropped their record down to 7-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Maranatha, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6-3.
Windward does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maranatha, they will square off against California Military Institute at TBD on Friday. California Military Institute's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
