Poland Seminary saw some tournament action on Thursday. They blew past the Princeton Tigers 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Poland Seminary and bumps their season record up to 8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Princeton, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poland Seminary will head out to face off against South Range at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 1.6, the Raiders 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Princeton, they will square off against Carolina Forest at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
