After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lancaster County Christian, the Lititz Christian Eagles were happy to have found some success on Friday. They walked away with a 61-52 win over Christian School of York. That's another feather in the cap for Lititz Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Lititz Christian found their leader in underclassman Elijah Antes, who almost dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Antes has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joey Lapp, who scored seven points along with eight steals.
Lititz Christian's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Christian School of York, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
Lititz Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dayspring Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. Dayspring Christian Academy is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Christian School of York, they will head out on the road to challenge Lancaster County Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
