Mary Rachel Uzzell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
