The North Murray Mountaineers typically have all the answers at home, but on Tuesday the Rockmart Yellowjackets proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Mountaineers 84-82. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading Rockmart to victory were Samuel Johnson and Treylin Davis. Rockmart's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for North Murray, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-2.
