With a playoff game on the line, the Bolles Bulldogs rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against Raines by a score of 14-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bolles.
Bolles was led to victory by Chase Collier and Emmett Grzebin. Collier picked up 83 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Grzebin rushed for 68 yards and a touchdown. Collier was no stranger to the big play, connecting with a big catch that went for 65 yards.
Bolles is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Raines, their loss ended a eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-2.
Bolles will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Moore will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. Raines does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
