Castle View is 0-9 against the Titans since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Castle View Sabercats have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Legend Titans at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for Castle View, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 68-53 loss to the Grizzlies. While losing is never fun, Castle View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Grizzlies are ranked first).
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Evan Mckean, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Vitorio Dante was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Legend pushed their score all the way to 63 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 72-63 to Douglas County. Legend has not had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Castle View has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Legend, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
Things could have been worse for Castle View, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 67-50 loss to the Titans when the teams last played back in February of 2023.
