Two dominant guards in Jesstynie Scott and Jariah Williams are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Sumter County Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Worth County Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Sumter County is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
Last Tuesday, Sumter County didn't have too much trouble with Dodge County at home as they won 37-23.
Meanwhile, Worth County pushed their score all the way to 62 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 77-62 bruising from Fitzgerald. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (60), Worth County still had to take the loss.
Sumter County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Worth County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-13.
Everything came up roses for Sumter County against Worth County when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 67-30 win. With Sumter County ahead 38-16 at the half, the match was all but over already.
