Sofia Baldessari continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 43 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Megan Thorne was another key contributor, scoring six points along with two steals.
Rock Canyon's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Douglas County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-5 record this season.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Rock Canyon hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 65.5 points per game. It's a different story for Douglas County, though, as they've been averaging only 46.6 points per game. The only thing between Rock Canyon and another offensive beatdown is Douglas County.
