Bellmont and Adams Central are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Braves will head out to square off against the Flying Jets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Adams Central took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bellmont, who comes in off a win.
Bellmont's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Garrett 12-0. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Railroaders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
The result came thanks to Bella Ashley's shutout, as she gave up just a hit.

At the plate, Emily Bleke was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season. Sophia Cole was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.
Bleke wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Bellmont lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Garrett didn't launched any home runs.
Meanwhile, Adams Central had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against Eastside, falling 22-6. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.
Melina Peralez was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Brinlee Rinkenberger, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Bellmont came out on top in a nail-biter against Adams Central in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
