This season hasn't been kind to the St. Charles Bulldogs, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They lost to Michigan Lutheran Seminary on the road by a decisive 58-39 margin on Monday. St. Charles lost against Michigan Lutheran Seminary in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 47-33 score last time.
Leading Michigan Lutheran Seminary to victory were Logan Broekhuizen and William Salgat. Broekhuizen scored 13 points along with 9 rebounds, while Salgat scored 20 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The match was Salgat's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Reif, who scored 6 points along with 5 assists and 5 steals.
St. Charles' loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
