Hamilton has gone a perfect 10-0 against Corona del Sol recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Huskies will host the Aztecs at 3:45 p.m. Hamilton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.
If Hamilton beats Corona del Sol with 13 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Huskies' pitchers stepped up to hand Chandler a 13-0 shutout on Monday. Considering the Huskies have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Liliana Russo tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Megan VanDenburgh was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 3-for-5. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Amanda Benites, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Hamilton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chandler only posted an OBP of .310.
Meanwhile, Corona del Sol lost 13-3 to Sunnyslope on Monday.
Miquela Tammaro made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylie Pequeno, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Hamilton has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Corona del Sol, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Hamilton hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .343. However, it's not like Corona del Sol struggles in that department as they've averaged .321. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Hamilton came out on top in a nail-biter against Corona del Sol when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. Do the Huskies have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Aztecs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
