After losing to The Hilton Cadets the last time they met, the University Prep Griffins decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. University Prep walked away with a 22-14 win over Hilton on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for University Prep.
C.J. Robinson Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 206 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry.
University Prep's win was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.8 points per game. As for Hilton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University Prep will square off against McQuaid Jesuit at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hilton, they will head out on the road to face off against University Prep Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
