Buffalo posted their closest victory since May 27, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Roane County Raiders 4-3. The win was familiar territory for the Bison, who have now won five matchups in a row.

Caiden Craig was incredible, going 1-for-3 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Luca Signorini, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one double.

Buffalo pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Roane County, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buffalo will head out to challenge Hannan at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.27 runs per game on average), something the Bison will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Roane County, they are taking a road trip to take on South Charleston at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Raiders are facing the Black Eagles at the right time seeing as the Black Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
