Adams Central is a perfect 3-0 against Twin River since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Titans at 3:00 p.m. Adams Central is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
Adams Central will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Central City/Centura, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Patriots walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Kernels on Tuesday.

Jacob Reichstein spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jackson Sughroue, who went 2-for-4 with one home run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Liam Dyer, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Twin River won against Aurora last Wednesday with two runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Titans beat Douglas County West by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.
Paydon Rinkol made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Twin River is 3-1 when Rinkol allows two or fewer hits, but 3-5 otherwise. Rinkol was also big at the plate, earning two runs and two stolen bases.
Rinkol wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Braedyn Ramaekers, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Adams Central is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Twin River, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
Twin River's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Adams Central has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .443. It's a different story for Twin River, though, as they've only averaged .319. Will they be able to contain Adams Central's hitters?
Everything went Adams Central's way against Twin River in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, as Adams Central made off with a 15-3 win. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
