Softball Recap: Horse Creek Academy Has No Trouble Against North

Horse Creek Academy's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the North Eagles as the Horse Creek Academy Stallions made off with a 15-2 win. The Stallions haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Allie Stuart made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Stuart was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addison Cartin, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. What's more, she posted two hits, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Madalyn Robatue, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Horse Creek Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Horse Creek Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Horse Creek Academy will head out to challenge American Leadership Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for North, they are taking a road trip to take on Horse Creek Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
