The Edon Bombers will face off against the Stryker Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Edon put up the most runs they have all season on Monday. They put the hurt on Gorham Fayette with a sharp 16-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bombers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Christian Owens was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with five stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kyler Sapp, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Edon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .674. They are 3-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Stryker came out on top against Litchfield on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run second inning. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 win over the Terriers.
The team relied heavily on Jacob Myers, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. William Donovan was another key player, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Edon pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Stryker, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.
Stryker's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Edon hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. It's a different story for Stryker, though, as they've only averaged .210. Will they be able to contain Edon's hitters?
Everything went Edon's way against Stryker in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Edon made off with an 8-0 win. Will the Bombers repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
