The McLean Tigers will head out on the road to take on Darrouzett at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
McLean suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Follett at home and fell 64-31.
Jayvon Salazar put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored eight points along with 16 rebounds and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times he's played. Caleb Steward was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Darrouzett, who are still winless after their eighth matchup. They were beaten by Follett 74-25 last Friday. Darrouzett has not had much luck with Follett recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
McLean's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Darrouzett, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-8.
Everything came up roses for McLean against Darrouzett when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 73-24 win. With McLean ahead 33-11 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
