After losing to Tournament Opponent the last time they met, the Gilead Christian Eagles decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Gilead Christian enjoyed a cozy 37-19 victory over Tournament Opponent on Saturday.
Gilead Christian was led to victory by Diesel Myers and Max Keller. Myers scored 8 points, while Keller scored 8 points.
Gilead Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Tournament Opponent, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 42 of their last 50 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 24-96 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilead Christian will take on Varsity Opponent at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tournament Opponent, they will be playing at home against West Scranton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
