Volleyball Recap: Saugus Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

Saugus won the last time they faced Crescenta Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Centurions skirted past the Falcons 2-1.

Taylor Stires paced Saugus' offense, picking up seven kills. Stires got some help from Bailey Posey and her ten assists. Emily Tran controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Saugus is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season. As for Crescenta Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

Coincidentally, Saugus and Crescenta Valley will both be playing La Salle the next time they take the court. The Centurions will head out to face the Lancers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
