The Revere Minutemen lost against the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Revere received a tough blow as they fell 56-40 to Brecksville-Broadview Heights. While losing is never fun, Revere can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while Brecksville-Broadview Heights is ranked 71st).
It was another big night for Jessie Zenir, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds for Brecksville-Broadview Heights. Zenir hasn't dropped below ten rebounds for six straight games. Ashley Perdion was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
Revere's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-12. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-6.
Revere will face off against Norwayne at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, they will be playing at home against Hoover at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
