Woodlake's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hugo Cruz, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luis Rios, who scored nine points.
Strathmore pushed their record up to 11-8 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Woodlake, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Strathmore will challenge Corcoran at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Corcoran is coming into the game hot, having won their last 11 games. As for Woodlake, they will head out on the road to challenge Kings Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
