Pulaski County were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They put a hurting on Carroll County to the tune of 53-14. Followers of Pulaski County probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to Glenvar in their previous match, Cave Spring were happy to find some success last week. Cave Spring were the clear victor by a 48-19 margin over Alleghany. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Cave Spring had established a 48-12 advantage.
Their wins bumped Pulaski County to 4-1 and Cave Spring to 2-2. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
