The Seneca Indians will take on the Royall Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
While Seneca's victory against Wauzeka-Steuben wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Hornets 8-6.
Gage Wall made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off seven hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jax Wall, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Prestin Kuhnke, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, it may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Royall ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 victory over Brookwood. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since May 17, 2025.
Seneca's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Royall, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
Seneca skirted past Royall 4-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
