With a playoff win on the line, Cranston East rose to the challenge on Sunday. They had just enough and edged out the North Kingstown Skippers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Thunderbolts sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Cranston East's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for North Kingstown, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 26-1.
