Gahr won the last time they faced Brea Olinda and things went their way on Saturday too. The Gahr Gladiators managed a 57-52 win over the Brea Olinda Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gladiators.
Nick Chamberlain and Logan Severson certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Chamberlain dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 boards, while Severson posted 16 points. Chamberlain continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Tracey, who had eight points.
Gahr now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Brea Olinda, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
Gahr wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-39 victory against Cerritos on the 19th. As for Brea Olinda, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on La Sierra at 11:00 a.m. on December 26th. Brea Olinda is facing La Sierra at the right time seeing as La Sierra is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
