Palestine-Wheatley have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Barton at 7:00 PM. Palestine-Wheatley are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Everything went Palestine-Wheatley's way against Brinkley two weeks ago as they made off with a 24-0 victory.
Last Friday, Barton had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 41-28 win over Dollarway. The success made it back-to-back wins for Barton.
Their wins bumped Palestine-Wheatley to 3-0 and Barton to 3-1. In their victory, Barton relied heavily on junior Kavein Davis, who rushed for 238 yards and 1 touchdown. Palestine-Wheatley will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
