The Little Elm Lobos had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Prosper by a score of 59-48 on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 27-27 at the break, but Little Elm was the better team in the second half.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Little Elm to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kensington Candler, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Candler is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last nine games he's played. Riki Adams was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
The win got Little Elm back to even at 13-13. As for Prosper, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Elm will challenge Boyd at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Boyd's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven games. As for Prosper, they will head out on the road to challenge Rock Hill at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Rock Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
