The Attica Red Ramblers lost against the Parke Heritage Wolves back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Attica was outmatched by Parke Heritage on the road and fell 62-23. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Attica in their matchups with Parke Heritage: they've now lost four in a row.
It was another big night for Emma Simpson, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds for Parke Heritage. Simpson hasn't dropped below two steals for 18 straight games. Another player making a difference was Andrea Perkins, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Attica dropped their record down to 8-13 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.3 points per game. As for Parke Heritage, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 20-3.
Attica does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Parke Heritage will square off against Cloverdale at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Cloverdale has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 22.
