The St. Bernard Prep Saints lost against the Meek Tigers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. St. Bernard Prep fell 43-35 to Meek.
Meek found their leader in underclassman Aleah Addison, who scored 16 points. The game was Addison's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
St. Bernard Prep bumped their record down to 1-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.8 points per game. As for Meek, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
St. Bernard Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Addison at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Addison has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Meek, they will head out on the road to face off against Cullman Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
