The Robinson Bulldogs suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Central Cabarrus, falling 87-36. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Robinson has scored all season.
Da'montre Harlee was Robinson's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Carson Daniel was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 11 assists for Central Cabarrus. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Daniel has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Daniel, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists.
Robinson's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Central Cabarrus, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 15-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robinson will square off against West Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. West Rowan is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. Central Cabarrus won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lake Norman Charter at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. The timing isn't great for Lake Norman Charter: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Central Cabarrus has snatched up 13 consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
